🌿 About Jessica Krepp, LCSW
A grounded, collaborative approach to meaningful change
I’m Jessica Krepp, LCSW — a clinical social worker with more than 15 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, trauma, self‑esteem challenges, and major life transitions. My work is rooted in the belief that therapy should feel safe, structured, and genuinely collaborative. You bring your lived experience; I bring clinical expertise, curiosity, and a steady presence. Together, we build a path forward that feels realistic and meaningful.
My style is warm, direct, and deeply respectful. I listen closely, help you make sense of patterns, and offer tools that support both insight and day‑to‑day coping. I value clarity, transparency, and creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
My clinical background
I’ve worked in hospitals, group practices, and private practice settings, supporting clients with a wide range of emotional and relational concerns. I’m licensed in Tennessee and STAR‑certified with specialized training in military‑informed care. This background allows me to understand the unique stressors faced by service members, veterans, and their families, and to provide culturally aware, grounded support.
Across all settings, my focus has remained the same: helping people feel more regulated, more connected to themselves, and more empowered in their daily lives.
How I work
Therapy with me is active and collaborative. I integrate evidence‑based approaches such as:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Prolonged Exposure therapy
• Mindfulness‑based strategies
• Narrative therapy
• Motivational interviewing
• Emotional regulation and distress‑tolerance tools
• Experiential activities like journaling prompts, emotional scaling, and grounding techniques
I also use structured outcome measures (like PHQ‑9, GAD‑7, and SUDS) to help us track progress together. This ensures your therapy is not only supportive but also purposeful and measurable.
Who I work with
I primarily support adolescents and adults navigating:
• Anxiety and chronic worry
• Trauma and post‑traumatic stress
• Low self‑esteem and self‑criticism
• Burnout and overwhelm
• Life transitions and identity shifts (Aging)
• Military‑related stressors
• Neurodivergent processing and navigating loved ones experiencing
• Relationship patterns and emotional reactivity
Many clients come to me feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure how to move forward. My role is to help you slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and build tools that support long‑term change.
What you can expect
In our work together, you can expect:
• A calm, non‑judgmental space
• Clear goals and shared decision‑making
• Practical tools you can use between sessions
• A therapist who is engaged, thoughtful, and invested in your growth
• A pace that honors both your strengths and your nervous system
Therapy is not about perfection — it’s about building awareness, resilience, and a sense of steadiness within yourself.
Sometimes we just need someone to listen. Someone who is not connected to our situation. Someone who does not have a bias or judgement. Sometimes, all we need is to experience open disclosure. I can help with this too.
